In 2000, Taber LeBlanc started Homes by Taber with his father-in-law—building a total of three homes per year. Since then—we’ve grown to the point of selling 990 homes in 2021. We’ve set the new-home construction standard for residents of OKC—and now, we plan to do the same for Tulsa.

Buying a home is one of the biggest financial purchases you’ll make within your lifetime, and if you are not fully confident in your final home decision or the builder you chose to work with—what should have been one of the most exciting moments of your life will soon become one of the most stressful.
Our team of experts will walk you through the financing options available and go over the agreement document with you before you sign. We’ll take you through our pre-construction orientation to ensure that the floor plan you choose is personalized exactly how you want it before construction begins. If you haven’t chosen a move-in ready home, you’ll then work with our design team during your color selection meeting where you can bring in images for inspiration and complete your home design to match your style. Once your home is fully built—a member of our Customer Care team will take you through the home to show you all of the electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems to make sure you are informed about all of them and understand how they function. Our team will also make sure that every design aspect in the home is exactly what you wanted before you sign off on your new home.
From the moment you begin the buying process with our team up until you officially receive the keys—we will be open and honest with you every step of the way.
The new-home construction industry is full of ups and downs—but we guarantee that the price you see at the beginning of the buying process is the price you will pay when you move into your new-construction home.
An escalation clause on most new-home construction contracts means that when labor or materials costs are on the rise, you will be responsible for paying for those increases when you sign for your home. With prices especially on the rise over the past two years, homeowners are hesitant to look into new-home construction for fear that the price they believe they are paying for their home will quickly become more expensive than they ever imagined.
Since our company began, we’ve made it a priority to stay true to our word—which is why you will not find an escalation clause on any of our contracts. Even if prices for materials go up throughout the building process, the amount you pay is the amount that was agreed upon at the very beginning.
