OKLAHOMA CITY —
The much-anticipated grand opening of Oklahoma City’s first Costco wholesale store is set to take place this Thursday.
The store is set to open to the public at 8 a.m. Thursday. It has been under construction near the Kilpatrick Turnpike and Western Avenue. The building will be more than 160,000 square feet.
Costco’s expansion to Oklahoma City has had people across the metro buzzing. The warehouse retailer first moved to Oklahoma in 2016 with a store in Tulsa, and Oklahoma City leaders said the new location could bring 150 jobs to the city.
Oklahomans can sign up for membership online or at the new location from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.
